After some investigation we have concluded, that our Zoom presentation on Saturday, April 6 was hacked. My sincere apologies for the unfortunate intrusion by someone who was mortifyingly inappropriate. We have learned that there are some precautions we can take for future Zoom presentations to avoid this scenario from happening again. Thank you for continuing to support the Friends of the Montezuma Wetlands Complex with good faith that we not only value the wellbeing of the wildlife and habitat here, but we value your safety and wellbeing too!
Thank you for this message, Jackie. When I logged in I saw the preliminaries and the very beginning of the presentation, but soon I logged out having received a few very strange messages including one that told me I was “not welcome here”. I saw nothing wrong about my settings on Zoom, but then logged off.
I always appreciate your sendings and the Friends group existence.
