Reimagine the Canals Project

DU continues our partnership with NYSDEC, NY Power Authority, and Arcadis to help  deliver the Reimagine the Canals wetland enhancement projects. We are exploring ways  to expand our partnership in the future years to further support this project. We have  submitted a grant to NYPA for other work, and they have told us it will likely be funded.

Outreach

In September, DU staff flew a drone over several projects on Northern Montezuma  WMA to get videos for public outreach purposes. The footage has been edited, and I  helped to record voiceovers for the work. Four videos were created for the Montezuma  Wetlands Complex, and they can be found at this link: https://www.ducks.org/conservation/glar/du-projects-interactive-aerial-tour

All the  videos are also on YouTube. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions.
