In and around the Montezuma Wetlands Complex: 12 out of 15 nests have hatched; I have seen a total of 14 eaglets in those nests so far!! 3 of them have 2 eaglets and the others have 1. Three nests can’t be checked right now and 1 nest has had no nesting activity.
In the Finger Lakes in areas a little further away from the Montezuma Wetlands Complex, some eaglets have fledged! All of our eaglets are large and have dark brown feathers so they will be fledging soon.

Jackie, thank you for the info. It’s exciting knowing there will be more eagles to enjoy.
