eBird is a joint venture between the Cornell Lab of Ornithology and National Audubon Society. Birders can enter their checklists into eBird for use by others. The list below shows recent rare bird sightings in New York. Click on the plus sign next to any sighting for more information. The "map" link will show you where the sighting took place. Sightings in Seneca County are often at the Montezuma Wetlands Complex.
