The Visitor Center and Lodge (the Friends' gift shop) are open as follows:
April 1st-- Oct.31st - Weekdays 10 am to 3 pm; Weekends 10 am to 4 pm
Weekends ONLY in November -- 10 am to 3 pm (weather permitting)
Holiday sale - 3 days after Thanksgiving (Friday, Saturday & Sunday) hoursTBA
December 1st -- March 31 the VC and Lodge are CLOSED.
However, volunteers will occasionally be at the Visitor Center for inventory and other chores as needed through the winter, so they are sometimes able to accommodate specific requests to have the building open for shopping during that time (this is generally offered to the Friends and to the Refuge staff).
